Fine Gael’s selected its contenders to run in the European Elections for Ireland South.
Former President of the GAA, sitting MEP Seán Kelly from Co Kerry was first elected to the Parliament in 2009 and is seeking to be returned again in June.
He’s joined this time by Co Cork hopeful John Mullins, a former CEO of Bord Gáis.
Already declared are current MEPs Grace O’Sullivan (Green Party) who announced her intention last year and Billy Kelleher of Fianna Fáil with his party recently adding Carlow native Cynthia Ní Mhurchú to the ticket.
Also in the mix are Carlow Kilkenny Sinn Féin TD Kathleen Funchion as well as Niamh Hourigan for Labour and Independent Eddie Punch.
