Fire crews deal with fires for second night in a row on Waterford/Kilkenny border

Emergency services were called to a series of fires at Clover Meadow in Ferrybank for the second night in a row last evening.

Multiple Units of Waterford City and Fire Rescue responded to six separate incidents at around 6pm, with residents reporting smoke entering their homes.

The cause of the fires has not been confirmed, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Gardaí.

A status Orange wildfire warning remaining in place nationwide.
