‘Fireball’ spotted in sky above Carlow and Kilkenny as well as other parts of the country

It was all eyes to the skies last night as what’s been described as a ‘fireball’ was spotted soaring above.

A number of people in pockets across Carlow and Kilkenny also witnessed the spectacle, with online debates as to what it could have been.

All however are clear on when it was seen, at approx 9pm.
