First of Barrow towpath information events takes place today

The first in a series of meetings about the proposed development Barrow tow path takes place in Graiguenamanagh this afternoon.

The events are organised by Waterways Ireland to inform locals about the planning application for  the “Barrow Multi-activity trail.”

They’re are open to the public and are being staffed by engineering and environmental teams from the organisation.

Today’s meeting is in the Scouts Hall in Graiguenamanagh from 3-7pm. There’s a meeting in Carlow’s Seven Oaks Hotel tomorrow at the same time.
