Flu cases on the rise in Carlow and Kilkenny

The Clinical Director of St Luke’s General Hospital’s warning of the rise of flu cases.

GPs are seeing three times more instances than usual while 19 patients with it are being cared for at the local hospital as well five others with RSV and one more with Covid.

If you fall unwell over the festive season you’re asked to consider the various care options (pharmacies, GPs, CareDoc) and to only present at the emergency department if you really need to>
