Four businesses from Carlow and Kilkenny between them secure six nominations for Good Food Ireland Awards

Four local businesses have between them secured six nominations in the Good Food Ireland Awards.

Prizes will be handed out on the 11th of November at a gala event in Kildare.

O’Shea Farms in Piltown are slated in three categories; Sustainability Award, Dairy Producer of the Year and Fruit & Veg Producer of the Year.

In the latter they face Malone Fruit Farm in Ballon.

While the Chocolate Garden of Ireland in Tullow is listed among the contenders for Bakery and Chocolate Producer of the Year.

And The O’Neill Family at Mountain View in Ballyhale are up for Food Innovator of the Year.
