Four local secondary schools will now be offering PE as Leaving Cert subject

Three Carlow schools and one in Kilkenny are to pilot the new Leaving Cert PE programme

The Department of Education has today released the official list of the 80 secondary schools that will take part from September.

Tullow Community School, St Leo’s College and Borris Vocational School in Carlow and St Kieran’s College in Kilkenny are the 4 local schools that have been selected

Students taking the new Leaving Cert subject from September will sit the first Physical Education exam in 2020.
