Frosty weather expected in the coming days but no snow for Carlow or Kilkenny

Locals still holding out for snowy weather during the festive season may be disappointed.

Snow may reach higher ground in north Leinster but Carlow and Kilkenny will most likely only expience sleat with frosty weather at night.

Alan O’Reilly of Carlow weather dot com says frost will linger in places and create icy patches in the coming days.
