Gardaí appeal for care on all roads across Carlow and Kilkenny as well as on New Ross Bypass

There have been further appeals for extra care on local roads this evening.

With snowfall continuing and temperatures lowering once again, events have been postponed, businesses closing early and schools have announced they’re not opening tomorrow (most up-to-date listings here).

The road safety authority is calling for unnecessary journeys to be avoided while those who do need to head out are asked to take extreme care.
