Gardaí are looking for witnesses to a phone grab from a person in Carlow town.
It happened just after 9:15am on Tuesday morning (10th December 2024).

Sgt Conor Egan told KCLR News; “The female injured party reports that while she was standing in the car park at Penneys an unknown male ran past her and snatched her Apple iPhone 11 from her hand before fleeing the scene on foot, so again a frightening enough experience, luckily she wasn’t injured, it happened so fast”.
He adds “Carlow Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, any CCTV and agin an area where there would have been a lot of footfall, a busy area there just off the centre of Carlow town, to make contact with us on 059 9136620”.
