A teenager has died following a crash in county Wexford.
The incident involving a car and motorcycle happened at 3:30pm yesterday (Tuesday, 26th May) afternoon on the R742 at Ballinvunnia, Kilmuckridge.
The motorcyclist, a young man aged in his late teens, was taken to Beaumont Hospital and was pronounced dead earlier this morning (Wednesday, 27th May).
No other injuries have been reported but investigations are ongoing.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have examined the scene and are appealing to anybody who might have witnessed what happened or who has footage of any form from the stretch between 3pm and 3:30pm yesterday to contact them at Gorey Garda Station on (053) 942 1222, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
