Carlow has been hit by another spate of burglaries.
Gardaí in Carlow are appealing for help in tracking down those responsible.
An attempted burglary at a retail premises in Graiguecullen Shopping Centre took place in the early hours of yesterday (Monday, 23rd Sept) morning.
Intruders tried to gain access through a rear door shutter but failed to do so and left the area empty handed.
Separately on Saturday evening last (21st Sept) between 5pm and 8:40pm a homeowner in the Powerstown area returned to find his rear patio door smashed and house ransacked – cash and jewellery was taken.
Meanwhile, Gardaí are interested in tracing the movements of a silver Seat Leon car with partial reg VW58 which is believed to be linked to a number of thefts in the Thomastown, Co Kilkenny and Carlow areas.
Anyone with information or who may have seen the vehicle speeding is asked to contact any local garda stations.
