Gardaí out in force for latest Operation Lifesaver campaign – five people have already died on roads in Carlow and Kilkenny this year

Gardaí are out in force for their latest Operation Lifesaver.

Their bank holiday road safety campaign began at 7 this morning and continues to the same time next Tuesday.

Five people have lost their lives on roads in Carlow and Kilkenny already this year and Divisional Roads Policing Inspector for our area Paul Donohoe says their aim is to prevent any more;
