Gardaí have reiterated their appeal for witnesses to a crash on the outskirts of Kilkenny city.
A car and bicycle collided at Loughmacask on the Tullaroan Road at about 5:30pm last Wednesday (24th June).
The cyclist, a man aged in his thirties, was taken to St Luke’s General Hospital nearby and then onto Beaumont Hospital for treatment of injuries that were described as serious.
He died on Saturday evening (27th June) and a post-mortem examination is taking place.
