The Good Shepherd Centre in Kilkenny say their numbers are nearly always at capacity.
It comes as today marks world homeless day across the globe.

It was first marked in 2010 and since its founding, World Homeless Day has been observed on every continent except Antarctica.
Fr Peter McVerry is among the guest speakers who’ll be in Kilkenny next Friday evening to discuss homelessness in this country.
