A daycare facility in the village of Gowran has won a top national award.
Dalton House Daycare centre picked up the overall prize for Day Care Centre of the Year at the Irish Healthcare Centre awards in Dublin at the weekend beating off stiff competition from around the country.

The centre provides meals for up to 70 people every day – some in the centre itself but also provides a meals on wheels service in the surrounding areas.
Fr Pat Dalton told KCLR news they’re thrilled with the recognition for the service they provide.
