Green light given for 72 new homes in south Kilkenny

Kilkenny County Council has granted conditional planning permission for a new housing development in Ferrybank.

72 new homes are planned for Abbeygate in the fourth phase of an overall masterplan.

The new development will consist of 54 houses in a mix of semi-detached and terraced houses.

The approved plans also include a three-storey apartment block, comprising nine, two-bed own-door apartment units and nine one-bed, own-door apartment units.

The green light comes with 28 conditions.
