Grow Mental Health is calling on people to Dip @ Dusk over the coming days.
The group is using the build-up to the longest day of the year to raise funds for and awareness of mental wellness while outlining the boost that comes from an outdoor swim.
She adds; “DIP@DUSK celebrates the power of community and nature, while directly supporting our work with people facing mental health challenges across Ireland.”
While the positive effects of open-water swimming are well recognised, those taking part are reminded to prioritise safety – always swim with others, enter the water slowly to allow your body to adjust and avoid staying in too long.
