A horse has been killed by a lorry near Paulstown this morning.
It happened on the Carlow side of the town- its understood the animal was loose on the road.
The dead horse has been removed and the truck has been moved from the scene now too.
Gardai are warning there may be some oil on the roads and extra care is needed.
Meanwhile you’re advised there are some icy patches around this morning too.
A car overturned on the Kilkenny road in Carlow earlier.
There was just minor injuries.
