HSE confirms only one temporary senior psychologist for intellectually disabled adults in Carlow/Kilkenny

A local representative for people with Disabilities says he is concerned about the impact of gaps in certain services in Carlow & Kilkenny.

It’s after KCLR discovered that the Health Service locally only has ONE temporary senior psychologist working with adults with intellectual disabilities in Carlow/Kilkenny.

PJ Cleere works with the Disability Federation of Ireland.

He says this is just one example of an area where people are struggling to get the care they need.
