Hundreds of doctors arrive in Kilkenny for 3 day AGM

Hundreds of medics are due to arrive in Kilkenny later this evening for the Irish Medical organisations annual gathering.

Its the first time delegates will visit the Marble city for the event and up to 400 doctors are expected for the conference with many bringing along their families too.

Lyrath Hotel will host proceedings which get underway later – Health Minister Leo Varadkar is due to attend on Saturday.
