Hundreds of students across Carlow and Kilkenny among those facing into State Exams

Hundreds of local students are among those facing into State examinations today.

More than 140,000 nationwide will sit the first papers of the Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate tests, all beginning with English.

All are urged to take time to read over the questions, taking care to get rest each evening with advice for students and parents readily available throughout, including via the HSE and Government.
