Independent Carlow County Councillor Charlie Murphy is the new Cathaoirleach of the Tullow Municipal District

Independent Carlow Councillor Charlie Murphy’s taken the reins of the Tullow Municipal District for a third time.

At last evening’s AGM he was selected as Cathaoirleach of the area council and will be aided in the year ahead by John Pender in the Leas Cathaoirleach role.
