Investigation continues after hit and run in Kilkenny over weekend has left one man in hospital with serious injuries

Investigations continue after a man was hospitalised after a serious hit and run in Kilkenny on Saturday night.

The collision occurred on the Dublin road at approximately 10.30pm. A male pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a vehicle that failed to remain at the scene.

He was removed to St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and remains in a serious condition.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
