Investigations continue into Kilkenny city assault which left young man hospitalised with facial injuries

Investigations continue into a Kilkenny city robbery which saw a young man assaulted.

KCLR News understands a group of seven to eight youths set upon him between 3 and 4pm last Saturday afternoon on Canal Walk.

He was taken to St Luke’s Hospital for treatment to facial injuries.

While a quantity of jewellery and cash was taken.
