Ireland South MEP and Carlow native appointed Chief EU Negotiator of Renew Europe political group on new laws to strengthen passenger rights

Ireland South MEP Cynthia Ní Mhurchú has been appointed Chief EU Negotiator of the Renew Europe political grouping in the European Parliament on new laws to strengthen passenger rights and travel protection.

Proposed new EU laws will give Irish passengers more rights when booking flights through an intermediary, when booking a package holiday and for those travelling with a disability.
