The Department of Foreign Affairs is advising Irish citizens to leave Lebanon.
Tensions in the region are growing after a bomb attack on the Golan Heights, with the Israeli Prime Minister warning of a strong response.
An advisory has been issued against travelling to the area, while Irish citizens have been urged to leave now while commercial flights are still available, as emergency evacuations can’t be guaranteed.
