Property in a south Kilkenny home was damaged during a recent burglary.
It happened between last Saturday (3rd Feb) and Tuesday (6th Feb) in the Kilmacow area.
Sgt Conor Egan has been telling KCLR News that “The home owner returned to their home in Chaplegate in Kilmacow to discover that the house had been burgled, again this burglary occurred sometime between 6pm on Saturday the 3rd and 6am on Tuesday the 6th of Feb, entry was through the rear door again, some damage was caused to the property within the house with mirrors and a bathroom cabinet broken”.
He adds; “During the course of this burglary then a HB Laptop silver in colour was stolen and the Gardaí in Mooncoin are investigating this and again appealing for anybody that might have seen anything suspicious, I know it’s a three-day period there between the 3rd and the 6th of February in the Kilmacow area, anything that stood out maybe unusual activity or suspicious activity to give the guards in Mooncoin a call on that one please”.
