John McGuinness says he has information in whistleblower case that can’t be shared now

John McGuinness says he has information in relation to the whistleblower saga that he legally cannot share now.
The Carlow/Kilkenny Dáil Deputy was chairman of the Public Accounts Committee when it heard evidence from Sergeant Maurice McCabe back in 2014 – and also had a meeting with then Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan in a hotel carpark in Dublin.
It comes as Enda Kenny has told Fianna Fáil leader, Mícheál Martin today that he’s proposing a public inquiry into the smear campaign against the sergeant.
Speaking on KCLR Live this morning Deputy John McGuinness says he has to wait until such time as the appropriate forum is set up before he can come forward and explain what more was said to him about Sergeant McCabe.
And he denied that he is holding back information
