Adjudication has officially finished for Kilkenny’s four entries in the IPB Pride of Place awards.
A final showcase took place yesterday (Friday) at St Canice’s Hall in the Butts.
Over a packed two-day schedule, national judges travelled across the county to assess community initiatives in Muckalee, Graiguenamanagh, Slieverue, and Kilkenny city.
Attention now turns to Carlow’s entries later this month, ahead of the national IPB Pride of Place gala awards ceremony in Dublin this coming October.
Speaking at the final stop, Kilkenny Cathaoirleach Joe Malone praised the immense local effort and volunteer spirit driving this year’s submissions.
