Kathleen Funchion has launched an attack on the government for not addressing the issue of mental health in this week’s budget.
The local Sinn Fein TD says the failure to introduce specific measures to deal with the lack of services, shows that it is not a priority for this administration.
Michael Noonan and Pascal Donohue announced budget 2017 at Leinster House on Tuesday.
Speaking to KCLR news, Deputy Funchion says mental health should have been given some consideration, even though there wasn’t money for a giveaway budget.
