Kildalton College in Kilkenny has picked up an award at the Bloom Festival in Dublin.
First time Bloom designers, Laura Cassin, Louise Jones and Linda Murphy have been announced as Overall Medium Garden winners for their Teagasc Garden of Hope in association with Pieta House at the flower and food festival in the Phoenix Park.

The garden was described as giving a peaceful space for spiritual renewal, reflection and ease.
A modified design on the garden will move to a permanent home at one for the Pieta House centres.
