Kilkenny and Carlow go yellow for Daffodil Day
You're being asked to dig deep for the Irish Cancer Society

Yellow is the colour of the day today as Daffodil Day is underway.
It’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Irish Cancer Society and volunteers will be out selling daffodils on the streets of Carlow and Kilkenny from this morning.
Julien Hughes is a daffodil farmer from Kells in Kilkenny who helps with the fundraising event each year.
Three years ago he himself was diagnosed with cancer, while his wife was expecting their first child.
He told KCLR he’s always happy to help the charity.
