A Kilkenny chef has been named Foodservice Chef of the Year at the Gold Medal Catering Awards held in Dublin.
Rory Nolan, a well-known local culinary talent who heads the team at the Abbott facility in Kilkenny, took home the gold prize at the black-tie event in Clontarf Castle.

There was further success for the county, with ISS at VHI Kilkenny securing the silver award for Sustainability Site of the Year.
