Gardaí in Kilkenny is investigating criminal damage in the Canal Walk area.
It’s after three lifebuoys were taken from their boxes along the City stretch and burnt.
It happened between lunchtime Friday and 9 am Saturday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to contact their local garda station.
