UPDATE (12:45pm, Wednesday 17th July): the lorry’s been removed and traffic’s flowing as usual.
Earlier story;
Bateman Quay is temporarily out of bounds for motorists.
A lorry has broken down there, just outside Dunnes Stores, and is blocking traffic flow from both sides.
Gardaí say support services are on site working to have it moved out of the way.
But in the meantime, you’re asked to avoid the area.
This will impact movement through the city centre, the one way system forbidding vehicles from moving from Parliament Street up High Street and instead sending them along Bateman Quay.
