Kilkenny County Council has launched its 2017 gum litter campaign.
They say the main aim is to try and change people’s behaviour when it comes to gum disposal.
The 2017 Gum Litter Taskforce education campaign was launched by members of Kilkenny County Council, Kilkenny City Tidy Towns Committee and Peter Bluett, Chairman of Keep Kilkenny Beautiful.
Bernadette Moloney, Environmental Awareness Officer at Kilkenny County Council told KCLR News the campaign is particularly aimed at younger people.
