Kilkenny to face Cork in opening game of hurling league as Carlow face Wicklow

Kilkenny will travel to Cork for their opening game of next year’s hurling league.

The holders will face the Rebels in a Valentines night date at Pairc Ui Rinn to open the new season next February.

The following day Dublin face Tipperary and Galway host Clare.

The Gaa has released a provisional fixture list for the opening weekend Carlow face Wicklow on day one of the Division 2A hurling league while the footballers face a trip to Antrim for the opening round of the football on February 1st
