Kilkenny father says he can’t let his children play outside because of rats

A local Dad says he cant let his children outside to play because of rats.

Joe who lives in an estate in the Moneenroe area says he’s tried everything to get rid of them and the council has even been out with bait boxes.

He’s taken photos and has video footage of the rodents, who it seems are nesting in a bank in a field at the back of the estate.

Joe told KCLR Live it’s been an issue for the past three years.
