A Kilkenny IT firm has signed a landmark agreement with a global firm in preparation for new data protection laws.
BITS.ie will team up with CipherTechs, who already have a Kilkenny base, in a deal which will see the companies work together on high-level security projects across Ireland.
It could also mean more jobs for the local team who already have 12 staff employed.
Managing partner with BITS.ie, Gavin Dixon, says it’s a very timely deal for them, given the recent cyber attacks that made the headlines.
