Kilkenny Gardaí investigating assault on woman at Ballytobin, Callan

An investigation has been launched after a woman was assaulted in Callan over the weekend.

It happened at Ballytobin in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Speaking to KCLR News local Inpsector Anthony Farrell gave this appeal:

“Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating the circumstances of a serious assault that happened on Saturday morning at approximately 1.45am in Ballytobin, in Callan where a young woman was seriously attacked.

“Gardaí would be grateful for the public’s assistance in the investigation of this incident and would appreciate if anyone who has any information would contact their local Garda station.”
