A renewed Garda appeal for information on the murder of a Kilkenny woman 33 years ago has seen a fresh canvas of homes in the county begin.
On Monday, Crime Call featured a renewed appeal for information on Marie Tierney’s death which happened sometime between October and December 1984.
Gardaí are anxious to hear from anyone who lived in Newpark Lower/Upper/Close, Loverslane, Meadow Way, the Castlecomer Road between the two petrol stations, Greenshill, the Bleach Road, Ballyragget Road from Hennebry’s Cross out to Foulksrath and up into Conahy.
Speaking to KCLR News, Gary Gordon says people should contact the Canvas Coordination Team in Kilkenny Garda Station if they used to live there during the early 1980s.
