A local group is in shock and disbelief following recent vandalism to their newly opened playground in Gowran.
The On The Move group unveiled the one-of-a-kind amenity just four weeks ago, with the project costing over €500,000.

Designed to be fully inclusive, the playground offers equipment suitable for children, adults, and those with special needs, as well as tennis courts.
Chairman of the group, Denis Hynes, spoke to KCLR News, expressing his disappointment and frustration.
He confirmed that they will work with An Garda Síochána and Kilkenny County Council to address the issue and prevent further damage.
