Kilkenny is the only county in Ireland without a dedicated nightclub

Just 83 nightclubs remain open in Ireland in 2025.

New figures from Give Us The Night show a drop in recent years, compared to 110 active nightclubs pre-pandemic.

Nine counties have just one nightclub open, with Kilkenny the only county without a nightclub. Langton’s Hotel in Kilkenny closed their long running nightclub in 2024.
