The funeral of Kilkenny handballing legend Michael Ducksie Walsh takes place this afternoon.
The local legend passed away on Thursday, following a suspected stroke, as he made his way home from a tournament in Cavan last Saturday.

He spent some time in Beaumount hospital in Dublin, surrounded by family and friends, before passing away on Thursday.
His funeral mass takes place at 1:30pm this afternoon in St Bennetts Church in Bennettsbridge, he’ll be laid to rest at Foulkstown cemetery afterwards.
