Kilkenny’s been dealt another blow as it appears another local man has died in a road crash.
KCLR News understands one of the two young men, aged 19 and 20, who died in last evening’s incident in Co Limerick is from our locality.
It happened on the N69 at Ballyengland at around 7:30pm after a car in which they were passengers hit a wall.
A third passenger and the driver were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with video or dash-cam footage of the road at the time to contact them at Askeaton Garda Station.
It comes as the community of Hugginstown’s still trying to come to terms with the death of 20-year-old Josh Dineen on the N10 close to Kilkenny city in the early hours of Saturday morning.
