Kilkenny woman aged in her nineties completes skydive in memory of her son

A 92-year-old Kilkenny woman has completed a fundraising skydive.

Tullaroan native Kathleen ‘Kay’ Sinclair, neé Gaffney has been based in Donegal for some time.

Kay is related to Michael Walsh (father of the famed hurling fivesome Tommy, Martin, Pádraig, Grace and Shane).

Her own son Michael died on the 20th of July 1987 and she decided to mark his 37th anniversary by jumping 15,000feet out of a plane in aid of Youth Suicide Prevention Ireland on Saturday in Co Offaly.
