The local Anti-Austerity Alliance candidate in the upcoming by-election says the water charges issue is still one of the main areas of his campaign.
Conor Mac Liam, is one of 10 candidates who have declared they’ll be contesting the May 22nd election so far.
He told KCLR that while he hasn’t started going door-to-door, the Irish Water debacle remains a huge issue for him.
Mr Mac Liam says he will be speaking at a public meeting to this effect along with TDs Ruth Coppinger and Paul Murphy this Thursday, April 16th in Carlow.
