Kilkenomics is officially underway in the Marble City this lunchtime.
This is the 7th year of the unique festival that combines economics and comedy.
Some of the big names in the comedy world that will be performing are the likes of Dara Ó Briain, Des Bishop, Colm O’Regan and Karl Spain.
They’ll be joined by some of the world’s top economists including Tim Hartford, Stephanie Kelton and Diane Coyle.
Speaking to KCLR, Colm O’Regan says the festival is a chance for people to introduce themselves to new opinions and ways of thinking.
