The Labour Party are already putting plans in place locally for the next general election – whenever it might happen.
That’s according to the party’s chairperson for Carlow/Kilkenny, Seán Ó hArgáin, who was speaking following the news this week that East Carlow is to be reunited with this constituency.
Labour took a huge hit after the last outing to the polls and Ann Phelan failed to retain her seat for the party here.
However, speaking to KCLR News, Seán says they’re already talking to local Labour councillors, and there’s no question of them not having a candidate to run next time around.
